4 Best Snooker Players of all Time

If you are a snooker fan, you’ve probably heard of The UK Championship, World Championship, and The Invitational Masters before. These three tournaments are believed to be the most prestigious snooker tournaments in the world, and of course, they feature only the best of the best. People all around the globe tune in to these championships to watch their favorite players display their skills and do what they know best. Betting is also very popular during these incredible competitions, although, nowadays with the rise of online betting sites and promo codes, sports betting is popular any time of the year and anywhere – for example, people in Romania love to bet using the Unibet bonus. But who are exactly these players everyone loves so much? Let’s take a look at our list of the four most successful ones.

Ronnie O’Sullivan

Ronnie O’Sullivan, also commonly referred to as ‘The Rocket’, is without question one of the best snooker players in history. He is in his 40s now and probably better than ever, but he started making history when he was still a teenager. At nineteen, he set a record for being the youngest Masters winner, which is just one out of three records he has set in his career. Now, after winning all three main championships several times, nobody can question the pure talent and skill that this man has.

Stephen Hendry

Another name on our list and another snooker player who has set the record for being the youngest player to win a certain championship, this time the World Championship. Stephen Hendry was only 21 years old when he set this record, and now, after 31 years, he has in total 7 world title wins under his belt, not to mention a dozen other titles. Definitely a snooker legend Scotland can be proud of.

Steve Davis

Steve Davis, nicknamed ‘The Nugget’ is one of those players every snooker fan has been hearing about for years. He was exceptional in the 80s when he absolutely dominated the charts, and since then, he has remained one of the best snooker players in the minds of many people. Just the fact that 18.5 million people in Great Britain watched one of his most famous matches in the 80s can tell you enough about what kind of a player Davis is.

John Higgins

John Higgins is another famous player who has won all three biggest tournaments several times in his career so far. It is truly incredible that Higgins remained in the top 6 for about 12 consecutive years, which is not something many can brag about. Even though he faced some allegations that could have been career-ending to some other player, he managed to remain successful and was nicknamed the ‘Wizard of Wishaw’. I personally believe that the ‘wizard’ part cannot be more true.
